Remote, Open to Work at Home in the United StatesRole Summary:The Medicaid Compliance Analyst is responsible for managing communications with regulators and internal business owners related to the Cigna Medicaid and Medicaid-Medicare Plan (MMP) lines of business. This individual will need to work with a high degree of independence to ensure all responses to the State and Federal government are completed timely.The Medicaid Compliance Analyst must be highly organized with eye for detail and communication management. This role is primarily responsible for monitoring internal and external compliance mailboxes and ensuring communications are send timely to appropriate business owners and returned to government regulators within designated due dates. A successful candidate must be able to understand business processes and work cross functionally with business owners. In addition to communication management, the position may also have some responsibility for: (i) reviewing information received from government entities, (ii) managing small compliance projects, (iii) coordinating with stakeholders, and, (iv) ensuring timely and appropriate closure of any issues.Responsibilities:Reports to the Head of Medicaid Compliance; Manage internal and external communications Collects, logs, and organizes information so that it is accessible to Medicaid leadership and staff;Responsible for communicating results and issues to a variety of stakeholders;Responsible for disseminating information to appropriate compliance and operations parties;Manage compliance deliverables calendar to ensure timely completion/submission by owners ; and, Other duties, as needed. Qualifications:At least 3 years of Medicaid or healthcare regulatory experience (preference for experience with government entities);Strong organization and analytical skills;Strong communication skills;Ability to multi-task in a high energy environment;Strong and confident oral and written communication skills required; and,Ability to work collaboratively with others required.This position is not eligible to be performed in Colorado.About CignaCigna Corporation (NYSE: CI) is a global health service company dedicated to improving the health, well-being and peace of mind of those we serve.
