Marisa Vigilante is a freelance writer for Mostly Medicaid. She received her Master of Health Science in health policy from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in Baltimore, MD and worked as health care policy consultant for state Medicaid programs. She was also previously the chair of the health care committee for the Manhattan Young Democrats, a volunteer position. Marisa is currently a book editor at Random House in New York City, and enjoys remaining active in the health policy field.
